All children in grades 4 and up are invited to become Altar Servers. Altar servers assist the priest at Mass. Servers carry the processional cross, and candles, help the priest to prepare the Altar for the Liturgy of the Eucharist, and at special liturgies, help with preparing incense.
Health & Wellness
The bereavement support ministry has been designed to deal with a variety of bereavement topics. The entire program is very much God centered. Meetings are held Saturdays from 10:00am-11:30am. Come to one or come to all, you are always welcome. Meetings are held in the McCann Hall Lounge (under the fire escape).

Liturgical
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion help to distribute the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass. Extraordinary ministers must be fully initiated members of the Church (Baptized, and have received First Communion and Confirmation), and must be active members of our faith community. Some extraordinary ministers also bring the Eucharist to the ill and homebound, as well as area healthcare facilities.

The Saint Philomena Men's Ministry group helps parish men of all ages explore what it means to be a Catholic man in today's world. With the help of the Holy Spirit, our primary mission is to enrich our relationship with Jesus Christ, grow in our faith and apply our faith in our daily life, in all aspects. Meetings take place weekly on Saturday mornings from 7:00am-8:30am in St. Joseph Hall.

Youth & Young Adult
Saint Philomena Parish's Youth Ministry is a multi-faceted program that includes spiritual formation, education, mission, service and fun. It incorporates adolescent catechesis into a comprehensive ministry to, with, by and for young people. This ministry is for young people from 6th-12th grade. This includes High School sessions every Saturday from 3pm concluding with the 5pm Mass and monthly activities (Days of prayer/retreats, fundraising activities). Middle School teens join us on the last Saturday of the month.
