Altar Servers of St. Mark Parish enhance the liturgies with their presence. Membership is open to boys and girls who have received the sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion and must beat least in fifth grade. It is open to any member of our parish.

Committed parishioners using their gifts as Ministers of Compassion to reach out to those who are undergoing loss.

Liturgical
The Eucharistic Ministers of St. Mark Parish are confirmed and registered Catholics of the parish who help with the distribution of the Eucharist. Not only do they assist at the weekend Masses by distributing Communion under both species, but they also visit the sick, the home bound, and those in the hospitals, nursing homes, and retirement communities on a regular basis. This duty does not replace the normal priestly visits, but it does make possible the more frequent reception of the Blessed Sacrament by those who cannot make it to Church. It also provides a bond of friendship for many people who have no family or friends of their own.

Parish committee whose representative serves on the PPC and provides periodic updates on the financial status of the parish.

Support group focusing on assisting those undergoing loss.
Liturgical
Lectors are members of the parish community who proclaim the scriptures at weekday and weekend liturgies and at other liturgical celebrations. Their careful preparation and reading of the scriptures is intended to communicate a sense of appreciation and respect for the Word of God.

An organization comprised of parishioners and pastoral staff whose purpose is to promote the spiritual growth of the parish community and plan ways for the parish to carry out the Mission of the Church.
Hospitality
Ushers are a visible instrument of hospitality to the whole community. Their task is to greet people in the name of the community and make them feel welcome.
