Archbishop of Ozamiz
Rev. Martin S. Jumoad was born in Kinasang-am, Pardo, Cebu City, on November 11, 1956. After completing his primary and secondary education, he studied philosophy at San Carlos Seminary in Cebu and theology at the Regional Major Seminary in Davao. He was ordained a priest on April 7, 1983, for the Prelature of Isabela. Subsequently, he held the following positions: Assistant Parish Priest of the Cathedral in Isabela (1983–1986), Parish Priest of St. Anthony Parish in Lamitan (1986–1989), a year of study in St. Louis, USA (1989–1990), Assistant Dean of Seminarians at REMASE in Davao (1990–1991), Dean of Seminarians at the same seminary (1991–1992), Parish Priest of St. Peter Parish in Lamitan (1992–1994), Spiritual Director of the Formation Year at REMASE in Davao (1994–1998), Chancellor of the Prelature of Isabela (since 1998), Director of Claret College of Isabela (since 1999), and Administrator of the vacant see of the Prelature of Isabela (since April 2001).
