Most Rev. Peter Chen-Chung Liu, Archbishop of Kaohsiung. Born on May 13, 1951, in Dalin Township, Chiayi County. Ordained a priest on April 13, 1980, at Cheng-Hsin High School in Douliu. Consecrated and installed as Bishop of Chiayi on September 28, 1994. Assumed office as Coadjutor Bishop of Kaohsiung on August 29, 2004. Assumed office as Bishop of Kaohsiung on January 5, 2006. Elevated by Pope Benedict XVI to the rank of Archbishop *ad personam* on November 21, 2009.
