Bishop Isaac Jogues Agbémenya Kodjo Gaglo

Rev. Isaac Jogues Agbémenya Gaglo was born on October 7, 1958, in Kpémé, in the Archdiocese of Lomé. After attending primary school in Agbodrafo, he entered the Minor Seminary of Lomé and later the St. Gall Major Seminary in Ouidah, Benin, where he obtained a baccalaureate in theology. He was ordained a priest on August 9, 1985, by the Servant of God Pope John Paul II. He was incardinated into the Archdiocese of Lomé and subsequently, following the division of the territory, into the Diocese of Aného. After his ordination, he held the following positions: Parochial Vicar of the Martyrs of Uganda Parish and teacher at the St. Pius X Minor Seminary in Lomé (1985–1992); doctoral studies in Moral Theology in Innsbruck, Austria (1992–1997); private secretary to the late Bishop of Aného, H.E. Msgr. Paul Jean-Marie Dossavi (1998–2001); Pastor of the Sacred Heart (Sacré-Coeur) Parish in Aného, Chaplain to the *Coeurs Vaillants et Ames Vaillantes* movement, Chaplain for Family Ministry, and Director of the Adjido School Complex; and Diocesan Consultor (1998–2005). Since 2005, he has served as the Diocesan Administrator of Aného.
