Adults with flexible morning schedules serve funeral liturgies of the deceased. Adult funeral servers carry the cross, assist with the offertory procession, hold the Holy water, assist with the Roman Missal, coordinate the thurible and incense, ring the bell and occasionally assist with Holy Communion. Currently five adult funeral servers assist at St. John Bosco and Sacred Heart of Jesus Churches: Joseph Gallagher, John Meier, Jim Palushock, Bonnie Yurko, Louisa Synex, Patty Synex, Judy Hall, and Diane Houser.

Youth Ministry Program open to all high school students, and members of the 8th Grade Confirmation Program are also invited. Teens plan activities on the parish campus, participate in partnership with other local parishes (March for Life), participate in Diocesan events such as ISLI, Light the Fire Youth Rally, Quo Vadis, Up & Over Retreat and Excel. Youth assist with Faith Formation as Aides, volunteer as Lectors at Mass, volunteer in the summer for Salvation Army luncheons, help with Parish Vacation Bible Camp, and participate in many parish activities such as Sacristans, Altar Servers, the Pasta Dinner in November, the Giving Tree and decorating the Church for holy days.
