Bishop of Yopougon
Salomon Lezoutié was born in Yopougon on April 8, 1958. He obtained a Licentiate in Applied Public Economics in his home country and a degree in Biblical Theology from the Pontifical Urban University. He was ordained a priest on July 23, 1989. He served as: Vicar of the Yopougon Cathedral; diocesan coordinator for youth ministry and for the pastoral care of the sick and prisoners; secretary to the Bishop and collaborator at the Apostolic Nunciature in Abidjan; and Vice-Rector, professor of Sacred Scripture, and spiritual director of the Major Seminary of Anyama.
