Bishop Daniel Lotfy Khella

Danial Lofty Khella was born on May 4, 1969. He entered the seminary in 1987 and was ordained a priest on July 18, 1996, taking the name Danial. He studied at the Pontifical John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage and Family. He has held various roles, including parochial vicar of the Sacred Heart parish in Qoussieh, educator and professor at the inter-diocesan Major Seminary, parish priest of Dronka, coordinator of the "Holy Family" Center for family and life (focusing on marriage preparation and family support), and head of the eparchial office for religious education. He is currently the parish priest of the Assiut Cathedral and head of the Eparchy's family pastoral care.
