Bishop of Kumba
Agapitus Enuyehnyoh Nfon was born on February 11, 1964, in Shishong, in the Diocese of Kumbo. He studied philosophy and theology in his home country at St. Thomas Aquinas Major Seminary in Bamenda. He was ordained a priest on March 22, 1991, and incardinated into the Diocese of Kumbo. Following his ordination, he held the following positions: 1991–1992: Parochial Vicar at St. Theresa Quasi-Parish, Sop, and subsequently at St. Theresa Cathedral Parish, Kumbo; 1991–1993: Administrator of schools in the Kumbo and Meluf parishes; 1992–1993: Chaplain and teacher at St. Augustine’s College, Kumbo; 1993–1994: Parish Priest at St. Pius X, Tatum; 1994–1995: Secretary to the Bishop of Kumbo; 1995–1996: Secretary for diocesan finances; 1996–1998: Principal of St. Augustine’s College, Kumbo, and diocesan chaplain of the Catholic Women’s Association (CWA); 1998–2001: Studies for a Licentiate in Theology at the Augustinianum Institute, Rome; 2001–2004: Formator at St. Thomas Aquinas Major Seminary, Bambui; 2004–2005: Bursar of the same seminary; 2005–2011: Rector of St. Thomas Aquinas Major Seminary, Bambui; 2007–2011: Member of the College of Consultors of the Diocese of Kumbo. On April 8, 2011, he was appointed Titular Bishop of Unizibira and Auxiliary Bishop of Bamenda. He received episcopal ordination on May 31 of that same year.
