Bishop of Autlán
Eduardo Muñoz Ochoa was born on October 13, 1968, in Guadalajara. He was ordained a priest on May 22, 1997, and incardinated into the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Guadalajara. He obtained a Licentiate in Dogmatic Theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome and a Licentiate in Philosophy from UNIVA in Guadalajara. He held the following positions in the Archdiocese of Guadalajara: parochial vicar, formator, spiritual director of the seminary, executive secretary of the Episcopal Commission for Seminaries, and formator at the Major Seminary. On November 27, 2020, he was appointed Titular Bishop of Satafis and Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Guadalajara. He received episcopal ordination on February 22, 2021.
