Bishop of Nueve de Julio
Ariel Edgardo Torrado Mosconi was born on January 18, 1961, in the town of 25 de Mayo, in the province of Buenos Aires. In 1983, after studying engineering with a specialization in agronomy, he entered the Seminary of Buenos Aires. There, he obtained a baccalaureate in theology and subsequently earned a licentiate in moral theology. Ordained a priest on November 17, 1990, he initially served as a parochial vicar; in 1992, he became "prefect" and later the *de facto* vice-rector of the Seminary of Buenos Aires, a role he held until 1999, when he was appointed parish priest of San Bernardo. Since 2005, he has served as parish priest of San Isidro Labrador, a member of the Presbyteral Council and the College of Consultors, executive secretary of the Vicariate for Education and the Episcopal Commission for Liturgy, and advisor to the Institute of Culture at the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina.
