Bishop of Buéa
Michael Miabesue Bibi is Bishop of Buéa, Cameroon. He was born on 28 July 1971 in Bamessing (Nsei), in the Archdiocese of Bamenda. He studied philosophy and theology at Saint Thomas Aquinas Major Seminary in Bambui, Bamenda. He was ordained a priest on 26 April 2000 and incardinated in the Archdiocese of Bamenda. After ordination, he held the following offices: 2000 - 2001, parochial vicar at Saint Jude in Fundong; 2001 - 2003, parochial vicar at Saint Matthias in Widikum; 2003 - 2004, parochial vicar at Saint Joseph in Mankon; 2004 - 2006, studies for a master's degree in theology, specializing in catechetics, at Maryvale Institute in Birmingham, England; 2006 - 2008, parish ministry at Saint Joseph Parish in Bafut and All Saints' Parish; 2006 - 2007, chaplain of Sacred Heart College in Mankon; 2007 - 2008, chaplain of Saint Paul College in Nkwen; 2009 - 2011, assistant archdiocesan financial secretary and diocesan chancellor; 2012 - 2015, private secretary of the archbishop; and from 2015, secretary chancellor of the Archdiocese of Bamenda.
