Rev. Cosme R. Almedilla, currently parish priest of the Child Jesus parish in Ubay. The bishop-elect was born in Capayas in 1959 and was ordained a priest in 1987. During his pastoral ministry he has held a number of offices, including parish vicar, director of the John XXII Seminary of Malaybalay City, parish priest of various parishes and chaplain of the Alabang Hospital in Parang. He is currently pastoral director of the diocese of Talibon and, since 2017, pastor of the Child Jesus parish in Ubay.
