Laurent Michel Camiade is Bishop of Cahors, France. Laurent Camiade was born on 22 November 1966 in Agen in a large, deeply Christian family very engaged in the life of the Church. After high school he entered the Pius XI University Seminary of Toulouse and attended the Institut Catholique de Toulouse, where in 1990 he obtained a degree in Philosophy and in 1997 a doctorate in Theology. He was ordained a priest on 28 June 1992 for the Diocese of Agen. After many appointments as parish vicar, in 2011 he was named diocesan head of youth ministry and from 2005 also pastor. In 2010 he was named vicar general of the Diocese of Agen. From 2011 he taught Spiritual Theology at the Institut Catholique de Toulouse. In addition, from 2013 he was also pastor of Laverdac. He has published some works of Spiritual Theology.
