Bishop of Chikwawa
Peter Martin Musikuwa was born on April 3, 1952, in Kalimtulo, Thunga Parish, Thyolo District, within the Archdiocese of Blantyre. He pursued his studies both in his home country and at St. Louis University in Missouri (USA), where he obtained a diploma in Spiritual Theology. He was ordained a priest on July 12, 1982, and incardinated into the Archdiocese of Blantyre. His roles included: pastoral service at Blantyre Cathedral; parish priest; bursar and teacher at the Blantyre Catechetical Centre; chaplain and formator for the local diocesan congregations of the Sisters of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Brothers of the Holy Family; and spiritual director at St. Peter’s Major Seminary in Zomba.
