Bishop Philip Adisak Phorn-Ngam

Philip Adisak Phorn-Ngam was born on November 19, 1954, in Hua Phai. He studied Philosophy and Theology at the Lux Mundi National Major Seminary in Sampran. He was ordained a priest on September 13, 1986, for the Diocese of Chanthaburi. He held the following positions and undertook further studies: Bursar of Darasamut Secondary School in Si Racha (1986–1988); Vice-Rector of The Holy Family Intermediate Seminary in Nakhon Ratchasima (1990–1994); studies in Spiritual Theology at the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas (Angelicum) in Rome (1994–1996); formator and professor at the Lux Mundi National Major Seminary in Sampran (1996–2007); Rector of the Lux Mundi National Major Seminary in Sampran (2007–2015); biblical refresher course at Ecce Homo in Jerusalem (2015–2016); and parish priest of Saint Nicholas and Assumption parishes in Pattaya (2016–2020). Since 2020, he has served as parish priest of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Chanthaburi and, since 2023, as Diocesan Administrator during the *sede vacante* of Chanthaburi.
