Bishop Roberto Yenny García

Roberto Yenny García was born in Mexico City on February 8, 1972. He was ordained a priest on March 19, 1996, and is incardinated in the Diocese of Tampico. He holds the following academic degrees: a Doctorate in Philosophy from the IEST-Anáhuac, a Doctorate in Moral Theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome, a Master’s degree in Family Therapy from the University of Tamaulipas, and a Master’s degree in Counseling from the Catholic University of Valencia. He has served as Prefect of the Minor Seminary of Tampico, Parochial Vicar, Spiritual Director of the Major Seminary, Pastor of two parishes, and Rector of the Conciliar Seminary of Tampico. Since 2019, he has served as Executive Secretary for Institutional Relations of the Mexican Episcopal Conference.
