Bishop Dominic Nguyên Văn Manh

Rev. Dominic Nguyen Van Manh was born on 12 August 1955 in Can Tho. From 1966 to 1973 he studied at the Simon Hoa Minor Seminary of Đà Lat. From 1973 to 1977 he studied philosophy and theology at the St. Pius X College in Đà Lat, staying in the same college as a supervisor from 1977 to 1980. He was ordained a priest on 29 May 1994 for the diocese of Đà Lat. After ordination he held the offices of vicar of the parish of Tan Hoa, Bao Loc (1994-2003) and has served as judicial vicar of the diocese of Đà Lat since 2009. From 2003 to 2009 he studied at the Pontifical Urbanian University in Rome, where he obtained a doctorate in canon law, and resided in the Pontifical St. Paul’s College.
