Bishop Dominique Banlène Guigbile

Dominique Banlène Guigbile was born on December 30, 1962, in Kpandéntangue-B (Tône), in the Diocese of Dapaong. After completing his primary and secondary education, Dominique attended the Saint Gall Major Seminary in Ouidah, Benin, for his philosophical and theological studies. He was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Dapaong on December 30, 1992. Following his ordination, he held the following positions: 1993–1996: Parochial Vicar of Saint Monica Parish in Dapaong; 1993–1996: Director of the *Foyer Séminaire Payenn Saint Clément* in Dapaong; 1996–2002: Studies in Strasbourg, France; 2002–2009: Pastor of Saint Monica Parish in Dapaong and Secretary General of the National Fraternity of Diocesan Priests; since 2003: Episcopal Vicar for Pastoral Coordination; since 2009: Pastor of Saint Peter Parish in Korbongou. Furthermore, he is a member of the Presbyteral Council, the College of Consultors, and the Council for Economic Affairs, as well as a visiting professor at the Seminary of Philosophy and Theology of Togo and at the State University of Kara.
