Bishop Dennis Gerard Walsh

Msgr. Dennis G. Walsh was born on 16 July 1965 in Lima, Ohio, in the diocese of Toledo in America. After entering the Province of Baltimore of the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer, he was awarded a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Saint Alphonsus College in Suffield, Connecticut, and a Master of Divinity from Washington Theological College. He was ordained a priest on 27 May 1992 for the Redemptorists, and incardinated on 19 July 2000 in the diocese of Toledo in America. He has held the following offices: parish vicar of Saint Michael in Baltimore (1992-1994), Immaculate Conception in New York (1994-1998) and Saint Mary in Sandusky, Ohio (1998-2002), parish priest of Saint John in Defiance (2002-2007), Saint Patrick of Heatherdowns in Toledo (2007-2015), Saint John the Evangelist in Delphos (since 2015), Saint John the Baptist in Landeck (since 2015), and Saint Patrick in Spencerville (since 2016), and member of the College of Consultors (2006-2016; since 2017).
