Bishop of Digos
Bishop Guillermo Dela Vega Afable, Bishop of Digos, was born on April 3, 1951, in Davao City, Davao Region, Philippines, in the Diocese of Davao. He was ordained a priest for Davao on April 24, 1976. On April 21, 2001, he was appointed Titular Bishop of Vadesi and Auxiliary Bishop of Davao. He received episcopal ordination on July 12, 2001, with Antonio Franco as principal consecrator and Fernando Robles Capalla and Generoso Cambronero Camiña as co-consecrators. On April 24, 2002, he was appointed Coadjutor Bishop of Digos. He succeeded to the see as Bishop of Digos on February 11, 2003.
