Archbishop of Jaro
Archbishop Midyphil Bermejo Billones, Archbishop of Jaro, was born on July 4, 1969, in Capiz, Western Visayas, Philippines, in the Diocese of Jaro. He studied at Pontifical Gregorian University. He was ordained a deacon on December 10, 1994. He was ordained a priest for Jaro on October 2, 1995. On July 16, 2019, he was appointed Titular Bishop of Tagarata and Auxiliary Bishop of Cebu. He received episcopal ordination on August 27, 2019, with Jose Romeo Juanito Orquejo Lazo as principal consecrator and Jose Serofia Palma and Angel Nacorda Lagdameo as co-consecrators. On February 2, 2025, he was appointed Archbishop of Jaro. He was installed as Archbishop of Jaro on April 2, 2025.
