Bishop of Katsina-Ala
Personal and Early Life: Isaac Dugu was born in 1960 in Benue State, Nigeria. He grew up in the Middle Belt region, where Catholicism was steadily expanding. Education and Formation: He studied philosophy and theology at St. Augustine’s Major Seminary, Jos, and later pursued pastoral training. Priestly Ministry: Ordained in 1986, he served in parish ministry, diocesan administration, and seminary formation. Episcopal Appointment: He was appointed Bishop of Katsina-Ala in 2012 and ordained later that year. Current Role: Bishop Dugu contributes to CBCN commissions on pastoral care and evangelization. He collaborates with CSN in strengthening Catholic presence in the Middle Belt.
