Archdiocese of Kuala Lumpur

Julian Leow Beng Kim was born on January 3, 1964, in Seremban, in the Archdiocese of Kuala Lumpur. After completing his primary and secondary education, and before entering the seminary, he studied at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, where he obtained a bachelor's degree in Civil Accounting. He worked in Sydney and later in Kuala Lumpur, Johor, and Singapore, overseeing various construction projects. He subsequently completed his philosophical and theological studies at the Major Seminary in Penang. He was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Kuala Lumpur on April 20, 2002. He subsequently served in the following roles: 2002–2004: Parochial Vicar at the Church of the Visitation in Seremban; 2004–2007: Parish Priest of Holy Family in Kajang; 2007–2010: Studies for a Licentiate in Church History at the Gregorian University in Rome; from 2010: Dean of Studies and Formator at the Major Seminary in Penang.
