Emmanuel (Khaled Ayad) Bishay is Apostolic Visitor [Visitator]. Khaled Ayad Bishay (Emmanuel) was born in Egypt at Kom Gharg (Tema-Sohag) on 5 January 1972. He was ordained a priest on 25 September 1995 at Kom-Gharib for the Eparchy of Sohag. After ordination, he continued studies in Rome, obtaining a licentiate in moral theology at the Pontifical Alphonsian Academy and a licentiate in Eastern canon law at the Pontifical Oriental Institute. He carried out several ministries: professor of moral theology, member of the teaching team of the major seminary of Maadi, and parish priest of the cathedral of the Eparchy of Sohag. From 2003 he was an official of the Congregation for the Eastern Churches, residing at the parish of Saint Francis Xavier at Garbatella, where he carried out his pastoral ministry as a collaborator.
