Bishop of Machakos
Bishop Norman King'oo Wambua, Bishop of Machakos, was born on January 1, 1952, in Kathiani, Kenya, in the Diocese of Lodwar. He was ordained a priest for Lodwar on May 22, 1988. On June 27, 1998, he was appointed Bishop of Bungoma. He received episcopal ordination on August 16, 1998, at Bungoma, with Jozef Tomko as principal consecrator and Zacchaeus Okoth and Cornelius Kipng'eno Arap Korir as co-consecrators. On June 23, 2018, he was appointed Bishop of Machakos. He was installed as Bishop of Machakos on August 25, 2018. On September 13, 2024, he was appointed Apostolic Administrator of Wote. He ceased to hold the office of Apostolic Administrator of Wote on September 21, 2025.
