Bishop Enrique José Parravano Marino, S.D.B., Bishop of Maracay, was born on November 8, 1955, in Turmero, Venezuela, in the Diocese of Maracay. He made his perpetual profession on August 30, 1980. He was ordained a priest for the same institute on January 14, 1984. On April 27, 2016, he was appointed Titular Bishop of Isola and Auxiliary Bishop of Caracas. He received episcopal ordination on July 9, 2016, at Caracas, with Jorge Liberato Urosa Savino as principal consecrator and Fernando José Castro Aguayo and Luigi Antonio Secco as co-consecrators. On July 19, 2019, he was appointed Bishop of Maracay. He was installed as Bishop of Maracay on September 28, 2019. He is a member of Salesians of Saint John Bosco.
