Bishop of Nakhon Sawan
Msgr. Paul Tawat Singsa was born on 13 March 1966 in Ban Mi, in the diocese of Nakhon Sawan. He carried out his studies in philosophy and theology at Lux Mundi College. He was awarded a licentiate in missiology from the Pontifical Urban University of Rome, and a doctorate in philosophy from Silpakorn University in Bangkok. He was ordained a priest on 24 October 1992 for the clergy of Nakhon Sawan. He has held the following offices: head of evangelization and employment of the Karen ethnic group in the north of the diocese; director of the Diocesan Action Center – Charity Work in Maeramet (1992-1999); director of the Pataravitaya School and parish priest of Saint Theresa in Maesod (2005-2011); professor and formator in the Lux Mundi National Major Seminary in Sampran (2012-2019); since 2020, parish priest of Holy Name of Jesus in Ban Mi and director of the Phraworasarn School.
