Bishop Martin Adjou Moumouni

Bishop Martin Adjou Moumouni, Bishop of N'Dali, Benin, was born on 29 July 1955 in Cotonou. He studied in his homeland, in Côte d'Ivoire, and in Rome, where he earned a degree in Moral Theology at the Alphonsianum. He was ordained a priest on 16 July 1983 for the Archdiocese of Cotonou. In 1991 he offered to go as a fidei donum priest to the Archdiocese of Parakou, where he founded the minor seminary, of which he was spiritual director until 1994. He was then rector of the same seminary.
