Bishop Giuseppe Alberti

Msgr. Giuseppe Alberti was born on 17 June 1965 in Este, in the province and diocese of Padua. After attending the minor seminary of Padua, he completed his studies in philosophy and theology at the major seminary. He was ordained a priest on 10 June 1990 for the diocese of Padua. After ordination, he was an assistant in the minor seminary of Padua (1995-1998). He was awarded a licentiate in pastoral theology from the Theological Faculty of Triveneto, and went on to serve as a missionary fidei donum in Ecuador to follow the formation process of seminarians from the diocese of Tulcán in the Nuestra Señora de la Paz Seminary and to teach philosophy and theology (since 2000); rector of the major seminary and pastoral collaborator in parishes of Tulcán; coordinator of studies and member of the College of Consultors; member of the organization and coordination group of the diocesan and national phase of the III American Missionary Congress of Quito (2008);, oderator of the Pastoral Unit of Villafranca Padovana (since 2011); and vicar forane of the vicariate of Limena (since 2013). He is currently parish priest of Santa Maria Assunta in Solesino.
