Bishop of Oran
Davide Carraro is Bishop of Oran, Algeria. Davide Carraro, P.I.M.E., was born on 26 January 1977, studied philosophy in Italy and theology in the Philippines, and was ordained a priest on 27 May 2006. He held the following offices and undertook further studies: sent to Algeria (2006); missionary in the Diocese of Laghouat (2007-2008 and 2017-2019); studies of classical Arabic in Egypt (2008-2011); missionary in Côte d'Ivoire (2012-2017); missionary in the Archdiocese of Alger from 2019; and from 2022, vicar general of Alger and local contact of P.I.M.E. in Algeria and Tunisia.
