Fredrik Hansen. Born in 1979 in Drammen; grew up in Larvik. Studied at the University of Oslo (B.A., 2004) and at Allen Hall Seminary (M.A., 2005; S.T.B., 2007). Ordained deacon on July 1, 2006, and priest on April 21, 2007, by Bishop Bernt Eidsvig at St. Olav’s Cathedral in Oslo. Parochial vicar at St. Mary’s Parish, Lillehammer (2007–2008). Private secretary to Bishop Bernt Eidsvig, Oslo (2007–2011). Prefect of St. Eystein Seminary (2007–2008). Vice-rector of St. Eystein Seminary (2008–2010). Vice-rector of the Swedish Seminary in Rome (2008–2009). Notary for the Diocese of Trondheim (2009–2016). Secretary to the Norwegian Catholic Bishops’ Conference (2009–2011). Judge at the Tribunal of the Catholic Diocese of Oslo (2011–2016). Attaché at the Apostolic Nunciature in Honduras (2013–2015). Secretary at the Permanent Mission of the Holy See to the International Organizations in Vienna (2015–2019). First-class Nunciature Secretary at the Permanent Mission of the Holy See to the UN Headquarters in New York (2019–2022).
