Bishop of Płock
Szymon Stułkowski was born in 1961 in Rokietnica, archdiocese of Poznań, and was ordained a priest on 15 May 1986, for the same archdiocese. He holds a doctorate in pastoral theology. Since ordination he has served in a number of pastoral and administrative roles, including vicar, member of the archdiocesan liturgical commission, chaplain of university students, member of the catechistic council of the archdiocese of Poznań, and secretary of the Pastoral Commission of the Polish Episcopal Conference. He is currently lecturer in the theological faculty of the “Adam Mickiewicz” University in Poznań, and rector of the major seminary.
