Bishop of Petare
Bishop Juan Carlos Bravo Salazar, Bishop of Petare, was born on January 3, 1965, in El Pilar, Benítez, Venezuela, in the Diocese of Ciudad Guayana. He was ordained a deacon on June 8, 1992. He was ordained a priest for Ciudad Guayana on November 28, 1992. On August 10, 2015, he was appointed Bishop of Acarigua-Araure. He received episcopal ordination on October 24, 2015, at Gymnase Hermanas González, with Ubaldo Ramón Santana Sequera as principal consecrator and Mariano José Parra Sandoval and Ángel Francisco Caraballo Fermín as co-consecrators. He was installed as Bishop of Acarigua-Araure on October 31, 2015. On November 16, 2021, he was appointed Bishop of Petare. He was installed as Bishop of Petare on January 10, 2022. His episcopal motto is "In Verbo Autem Tuo".
