Bishop Fikremariam Hagos Tsalim

Abba Fikremariam Hagos Tsalim was born on October 23, 1970, in Addis Ababa. He pursued his philosophical studies at the Major Seminary of Adigrat and his theological studies at the Asmara Theological Institute. He was ordained a priest on July 21, 1996. He exercised his pastoral ministry in Sembel, on the outskirts of Asmara, while simultaneously serving as Secretary and Bursar of the Bishop's Residence. Subsequently, he was sent to Rome, where he obtained a Licentiate in Moral Theology from the Alphonsian Academy. Upon returning to Eritrea, he served as parish priest of Segheneity and dean of that pastoral zone. He is a member of the Ecclesiastical Tribunal and currently holds the office of Protosyncellus of the Eparchy of Asmara.
