Bishop Martín Fassi was born in San Isidro on 14 November 1960, and was ordained a priest for the same diocese on 14 December 1984. He has held the following offices: parish vicar of the Purísima Concepción of General Pacheco; formator and professor in the Nuestra Señora de la Encarnación Interdiocesan seminary in Resistencia; missionary in the diocese of Holguín, Cuba, vicar general of the diocese of San Isidro and spiritual director of the diocesan seminary. In addition, he has served as head of permanent formation for the clergy of the diocese. On 17 November 2014 he was appointed as titular bishop of Dionysiana and auxiliary of the diocese of San Isidro, and received episcopal ordination the following 11 December. Within the Argentine Episcopal Conference he is a member of the Commission for Ministers.
