Bishop Jean Marie Prida Inthirath

Jean Marie Prida Inthirath was born on February 19, 1957, in the village of Muang Phine, Khammouan Province, within the Apostolic Vicariate of Savannakhet (Laos). He completed his studies in philosophy and theology in Thakhek. He was ordained a priest on April 20, 1986, and incardinated into the Apostolic Vicariate of Savannakhet. Following his ordination, he held the following positions: 1986–2004: engaged in pastoral care for the village communities of Phôn Phèng, Natakét, Na nockèo, Donndône, Ponkiou, Dongmakba, and Khôksang; 2004–2009: Rector of the Major Seminary in Thakhek and Parish Priest of Khôksang and Kèng Kasi.
