Archbishop of Szczecin-Kamień
He was born on January 3, 1969, in Świecie. He was ordained a priest on May 29, 1994, and a bishop on April 21, 2012. His episcopal motto is "Omnibus omnia factus" (Having become all things to all people). In 2017, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Toruń. On September 13, 2024, Bishop Wiesław Śmigiel was appointed Archbishop Metropolitan of Szczecin-Kamień. His formal entry into the cathedral took place on October 26, 2024.
