Bishop of Tenancingo
Víctor Carabés Chávez is Bishop of Tenancingo, Mexico. Monsignor Carabés Chávez was born on 10 July 1963 in Mexico City. He entered the minor seminary of the Missionaries of the Nativity of Mary and studied philosophy and theology at the León Seminary. He gave perpetual vows in 1990 and was ordained a priest on 2 July 1991. He held the following offices: director of the Pre-Vocational School in Monterrey, adviser for the economy, and superior general (2008-2021). At the time of the source he was director of the Escuela Hogar in Mérida, in the Archdiocese of Yucatán.
