Bishop of Tlapa
Bishop Dagoberto Sosa Arriaga, Bishop of Tlapa, was born on April 15, 1955, in La Loma, Mexico, in the Diocese of Puebla de los Ángeles. He was ordained a priest for Puebla de los Ángeles on April 24, 1983. On February 24, 2011, he was appointed Titular Bishop of Gummi in Byzacena and Auxiliary Bishop of Puebla de los Ángeles. He received episcopal ordination on April 12, 2011, with José Víctor Manuel Valentín Sánchez Espinosa as principal consecrator and Norberto Rivera Carrera and Christophe Louis Yves Georges Pierre as co-consecrators. On February 23, 2013, he was appointed Bishop of Tlapa.
