Bishop of Trujillo
Henry Orlando Ruiz Mora was born on January 25, 1973, in Santa Cruz del Potrero, in the Department of Olancho. He pursued his studies in philosophy and theology at the *Nuestra Señora de Suyapa* Major Seminary in Tegucigalpa and was ordained a priest on May 30, 1998, for the Diocese of Juticalpa. He has held the following positions: Parochial Vicar at San Jerónimo Gualco and San Esteban, and Coordinator of the *Delegados de la Palabra* (1998–1999); Head of the *San Pedro y San Pablo* Minor Seminary in Juticalpa, Campus Chaplain for the *Universidad Católica de Honduras Santa Clara* in Juticalpa, and Coordinator of University Campus Ministry (2000–2005); Coordinator of Vocations Ministry (2000–2013); Parish Priest of the Juticalpa Cathedral (2002–2012); Coordinator of the *Cursillos de Cristiandad* Movement (since 2007); Parish Priest of *Nuestra Señora de Candelaria* in Salamá (2012–2016); and, most recently, Parish Priest of *San Francisco de Asís* in La Unión, as well as Vicar for Pastoral Care and the Clergy.
