Bishop of Tula
Bishop Juan Pedro Juárez Meléndez, Bishop of Tula, was born on June 26, 1951, in San Pedro Tlalcuapán, Mexico, in the Diocese of Tlaxcala. He was ordained a priest for Tlaxcala on August 9, 1975. On October 12, 2006, he was appointed Bishop of Tula. He received episcopal ordination on November 26, 2006, at Esplanade, with Jacinto Guerrero Torres as principal consecrator and Rosendo Huesca Pacheco and Octavio Villegas Aguilar as co-consecrators. On July 3, 2024, he was appointed Apostolic Administrator of Atlacomulco. He ceased to hold the office of Apostolic Administrator of Atlacomulco on April 13, 2026.
