Bishop of Tuxpan
Roberto Madrigal Gallegos was born on December 8, 1967, in Ejido Iquinuapa, in the Diocese of Tabasco. After completing his studies at the Major Seminary of Tabasco, he was ordained a priest on November 30, 1997, and incardinated into the same diocese. He obtained a Licentiate in Spiritual Theology from the Pontifical Theological Faculty and Pontifical Institute of Spirituality "Teresianum" (Rome). He has held the following positions: formator and professor at the diocesan seminary, pastor of two parishes, member of the Presbyteral Council, dean, head of the Diocesan Caritas, spiritual advisor for Perpetual Adoration chapels, and episcopal vicar. Most recently, he served as the head of the diocesan seminary's introductory course.
