Bishop of Uruguaiana
Clésio Facco, S.A.C., was born on April 1, 1971, in Nova Palma, in the Archdiocese of Santa Maria, in the State of Rio Grande do Sul. He studied Philosophy and Theology at the *Colégio Máximo Palotino* in Santa Maria, Rio Grande do Sul. After making his religious profession in the Society of the Catholic Apostolate (Pallottines) in 1994, he was ordained a priest on December 14, 1997. He has held the following positions: Parochial Vicar in Dourados, Mato Grosso do Sul (1998–1999), at the parish of San Vincenzo Pallotti in Rome (2005–2007), and in Santa Maria, Rio Grande do Sul (2012–2013); Rector and Professor at the Pallottine Fathers' Seminary in Vale Vêneto, Rio Grande do Sul (1999–2002); Director of the Propaedeutic Seminary and Rector of the Vicente Pallotti Seminary in Palotina, Paraná (2002–2005); Parish Priest in Fátima do Sul, Mato Grosso do Sul (2007–2010); Provincial Secretary and Deputy Provincial Treasurer (2010–2012); Provincial Councilor and Notary (2011–2013); Director of the Vicente Pallotti School in Santa Maria, Rio Grande do Sul (2011–2015); Provincial Treasurer (2012–2016); Rector of the Provincial House (2013–2016); Vice-Provincial (2014–2016); Member of the Presbyteral Council of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Santa Maria (2016–2019); Rector of the *Nossa Senhora Conquistadora* Pallottine Province, based in Santa Maria, Rio Grande do Sul (2016–2022), and Treasurer of the same Province (since 2023). Most recently, he served as Parish Priest of Santo Antonio in Santa Maria, Rio Grande do Sul, within the Archdiocese of the same name.
