Bishop of Viedma
Bishop Esteban María Laxague, S.D.B., Bishop of Viedma, was born on March 4, 1957, in Coronel Pringles, Coronel Pringles Partido, Argentina. He is a member of the Salesians of Saint John Bosco. He was ordained a priest for the same institute on May 10, 1982. On October 31, 2002, he was appointed Bishop of Viedma. He received episcopal ordination on December 21, 2002, at Viedma, with Marcelo Angiolo Melani as principal consecrator and Agustín Roberto Radrizzani and Jorge Mayer as co-consecrators.
