Archbishop of Windhoek
Archbishop Liborius Ndumbukuti Nashenda, O.M.I., Archbishop of Windhoek, was born on April 7, 1959, in Oshikuku, Namibia. He is a member of the Oblates of Mary Immaculate. He was ordained a priest for the same institute on June 25, 1988. On November 5, 1998, he was appointed Titular Bishop of Pertusa and Auxiliary Bishop of Windhoek. He received episcopal ordination on February 7, 1999, with Bonifatius Haushiku as principal consecrator and Denis Eugene Hurley and Fernando Guimarães Kevanu as co-consecrators. On September 21, 2004, he was appointed Archbishop of Windhoek. He was installed as Archbishop of Windhoek on November 14, 2004.
