Spring 2026: Spiritual Statistics, New Document Sources, A2A, and More
Happy Easter! We're thrilled to share some of the most significant updates in Magisterium AI's history — new data layers, new document sources, new ways to connect, and new tools for the whole Church.
Before diving in, a word from our CEO, Matthew Harvey Sanders:
This feature and data drop is historic, in my opinion.
Like many of you, for years I've wanted to find a way to make not just what the Church has said universally available, but also facts that speak to how the Church is doing.
Our heroic clergy and religious sacrifice for us every day, and too often they're abandoned to evangelize, govern, and serve alone. It's time for the laity to stand back up and re-commit ourselves to serving God's Church and her mission.
We felt, at Longbeard, one way we could support this process is by exploring ways to make the current state of the Church clearer, so each of us could discern how our time and gifts could be offered to help serve the Church.
Many of the updates we're sharing are our first attempts to make a contribution in this area. We hope they will be helpful and foster an ongoing dialogue amongst the laity on how we can do more.
All of the data we've brought together is also available through API, MCP, and A2A so your personal agents or your organization's own products and apps can also benefit from it directly.
One final note and appeal. We're committed to ensuring that anyone in the world can access the patrimony of the Church regardless of their means, but running Magisterium AI is becoming an increasingly financial challenge as it scales. We're serving over a million users in 190 countries. In order for us to continue to make it free for those who can't afford our $3.99/mo Pro plan, we need more of you to step up and upgrade to Pro. If you value this project and want it to continue to help people on their journeys, please support us.
Thank you for prayerfully considering and God bless you all.
— Matthew Harvey Sanders, CEO
