Welcome to Magisterium AI

Welcome! Magisterium AI is built to answer questions about Catholic teaching using the world's largest indexed library of magisterial documents and theological works. Here's a quick orientation.

Ask your first question

Type anything in the chat box and press Enter. Try a question like:

"What does the Catechism say about prayer?"
"Walk me through the parts of the Mass."
"Summarize Pope Francis on the dignity of work."

Every answer is grounded in real documents, with References you can open below the response.

A typical Magisterium AI chat answer to the question 'What is grace?' (shown as a chat bubble in the top-right). The body text describes grace as 'God's free gift that brings a person into a new supernatural life' and unpacks Catechism, Baptism, and traditional definitions in bullet points with bold key terms and superscript citation numbers (¹ ² ³ ⁴ ⁵). Below the answer the action bar shows a 'References' button on the left and a row of round icon buttons (thumbs-up, thumbs-down, copy, share, pin, print, listen) on the right, followed by a 'Related questions' section with suggested follow-ups. The composer at the bottom shows 'Ask follow-up …' with mode and voice controls. — A typical answer with the action bar (References, Listen, Share)

Voice and dictation (Pro)

Both controls below are Pro features on the web — Free users see them as Pro and are sent to the Plan page when they click them.

The microphone icon dictates your prompt while you speak.
The waveform icon starts a real-time spoken conversation in Voice Mode.
